Hazvinei Mushonga

Bio

I’m Hazvinei Mushonga, an operations and governance professional from Zimbabwe. I’m currently passionate about orphans and young expecting mothers who’ve been pushed to the margins of their own communities, children who lose more than family when they lose a parent, and young mothers who are often judged before they are  ever supported. Both are treated as burdens instead of people still becoming who they will be, and I want to build an organization that restores their sense of belonging, not just meets their basic needs.

What drew me to SELA and the Introductory Pathway is the gap between my vision and my current toolkit. I have the operational and governance foundation to run a mission well, but I do not  have the advocacy strategy, mentorship, or network to launch one. SELA is exactly that missing piece: the platform to turn intention into impact.
