Bio
My name is Emmanuel Zutha, a Malawian and First-Class graduate in Mathematical Sciences from Mzuzu University. I am passionate about using data, research and evidence to contribute to healthier and more sustainable communities. My academic and research journey has strengthened my interest in addressing challenges at the intersection of health, the environment and community well-being.I was drawn to the SELA Introductory Pathway because I see advocacy and leadership as important tools for turning knowledge and evidence into meaningful action. As someone beginning my advocacy journey, I want to develop the skills to communicate effectively, engage communities and stakeholders and contribute to solutions that create positive social impact. I believe SELA will provide the knowledge, mentorship and network I need to grow as a young African leader and advance my goal of using evidence to advocate for healthier and more sustainable communities.
I have also attached my professional headshot as requested.
Thank you once again for this opportunity. I look forward to joining the SELA Fellowship community and beginning the Introductory Pathway.
