Dro Omepieu Yves Boris

Bio

As a changemaker and committed communicator, I am Yves Boris Dro. My journey is driven by a dual quest: understanding the human element and effecting tangible societal change. Backed by a Master’s degree in Psychology (specializing in Educational Sciences) from Félix Houphouët-Boigny University and training from the Africa Digital Academy, I harness the power of storytelling and pedagogy to champion major causes. Serving as the Communications Manager for the Climate Soldiers Association (via the AbidjanTrash2Talent project) and as a thought leader with Impact Bénévole CI, I am deeply passionate about raising awareness regarding ecological issues—such as recycling, the circular economy, and coastal protection—and awakening public consciousness through impactful digital content.
Joining the SELA Fellowship is the natural next step in this commitment. My background—situated at the intersection of science and grassroots climate action—has taught me that lasting change requires structured knowledge sharing and inspiring leadership. The SELA Fellowship offers an opportunity to hone my leadership style, refine my pedagogical methods, and combine my communication skills with a comprehensive strategic vision. My goal is to train and empower African youth, enabling them to shine as they tackle the ecological challenges of tomorrow.
