As a third-year undergraduate student in Environment and Natural Resource Management at IPD-AC (Douala), I am a young Pan-African leader committed to climate and environmental justice. Originally from Bangui (CAR), I coordinate the AfrikaNova association in the Central African Republic and co-lead the “Campus Vivant” project—an ecological restoration initiative using vetiver grass that was selected by the UniC Network (Université Laval) from among more than 100 international projects. A member of the BeAfrica Greener association and the Africa Ecological Transition Cluster, an FXB Climate Advocate fellow, and a selected volunteer for COP31 in Antalya, I believe that “only effort builds strength.” I am drawn to SELA by its concrete promise: transforming ideas into structured projects through mentorship, practical skills, and a Pan-African network of sustainability leaders—precisely the support I need to expand the scope of my commitment.
