I am Aboubaker Ainan. Pursuing Master’s student at Akdeniz University currently developing an initiative focused on sourcing heat-resistant, certified F1 hybrid seeds to enhance crop yields and climate resilience in East Africa. My work bridges advanced plant tissue culture with practical agricultural supply chains to strengthen regional food security.

I was drawn to the SELA Introductory Fellowship because of its commitment to empowering African youth through transformative leadership. The Introductory Pathway provides the ideal platform to refine my strategic vision, connect with fellow changemakers across the continent, and scale this seed export project into a sustainable, high-impact venture for farming communities.
