Abiba Sani Boubacar

Bio

I am an electrical engineer and Solar PV Plant Manager in Niger, passionate about renewable energy, energy transition, climate resilience, and inclusive development across Africa. My work sits at the intersection of power systems, clean energy infrastructure, and leadership, with a strong focus on turning technical solutions into meaningful impact for communities.

I was drawn to SELA because I believe Africa’s transformation requires not only technical expertise, but also ethical, purpose-driven, and collaborative leaders. The Introductory Pathway particularly appeals to me as an opportunity to strengthen my leadership capacity, learn from diverse African perspectives, and contribute my experience while growing alongside other emerging leaders. I look forward to using this journey to become a stronger change-maker and to contribute more effectively to Africa’s sustainable future.
