I am Siphelele Dumbisa, a recent Bachelor of Social Science graduate from the University of Cape Town. I am currently very interested in Climate Induced Migration. This is because migration has become a serious issue with a lot of reasons behind it. I am currently very interested in seeing the connection between migration and climate change. What drew me to the SELA Introductory pathway is that I do not have any prior experience in advocacy or volunteering which is something I am very passionate about and SELA provides a pathway that I can take to pursuing this dream of mine and making a difference. Additionally, I was drawn to SELA for the mentorship one gets exposed to which I feel can be very helpful.
