As stated above, I am Bakhit Musa Ogreba, a sustainable development practitioner and community leader passionate about regenerative agriculture, climate resilience, education, and creating opportunities for young people and marginalized communities. Through my work with Farming & Health Education (FHE) in Kakuma, I have supported initiatives that connect sustainable agriculture, environmental restoration, food security, leadership, particularly, for young people, and community empowerment.

I was drawn to the Sustainable Education and Leadership for Africa (SELA) Fellowship and the Introductory Pathway because I see education and leadership as powerful tools for transforming communities. My experiences have taught me that lasting change happens when communities are equipped with knowledge, confidence, and opportunities to lead their own solutions. I want to strengthen my leadership, advocacy, storytelling, and collaborative skills while learning from other African changemakers. I hope to use the experience to deepen my contribution to sustainable development and empower young people and communities to become leaders of positive change.
